I am currently an international student in the US working at a Big 4 on my OPT which expires in Sep. I am planning on taking FAR in Aug. My question is: if I need to retake FAR, I can still stay in the States for 2-months following my OPT end (so till Nov). However, my driver’s license would’ve expired by then but my passport will still be valid. Will I still be able to reschedule in the States or will I need to go back to my home country and apply for an international NTS?

Also, I haven’t been through the international testing experience but I am curious how far in advance do people schedule their exams at international locations? If I find out in Sep that I failed, will I still be able to apply for an international NTS and schedule an exam in November? My first exam expires in March 2018 so I really need to get this out of my way.

I will have had one year of work experience in the US by Sept but may/may not have passed all 4 sections by then. Will I still be eligible to apply for a license? I am planning on transferring to an international office – will I still be able to meet all the experience requirements for a license considering I may have a few months’ gap before starting work at the other location?
