I'm an IL Wave 2'er waiting for BEC results, so you've definitely got company out here!
I work about 10 minutes from the Hoffman Estates NIU satellite campus, so I've signed up to take the live NIU review classes throughout this entire year. I've taken BEC and AUD so far, and am currently in REG. The only drawback to the live classes is that these first three literally ran back to back from January through April, so there's really no time in between classes to take the tests. I'm basically sitting in class for REG right now, but I need to come home and study AUD on my own since that's the next section I'm taking. They offer the classes at other locations in the Chicagoland area at various times throughout the year, but with my work it's not feasible for me to drive out to Chicago, Naperville, or DeKalb, so Hoffman Estates it is.
I felt pretty well prepared for BEC, but I'll find out for sure what the end result was of all this once the scores are in. The best selling point of the AUD class is that Debra Hopkins teaches the vast majority of the sessions, and I can't argue with the poster that said she's God's gift to CPA candidates. She really does teach her stuff well, finds creative ways to get the material to stick in your head, and you believe 100% that she's invested in making sure that all her candidates pass. That being said, I haven't used Becker or Wiley at all, but based on my experience I would definitely reccomend taking NIU's AUD correspondence class if you need the extra help with Audit and don't live in the Chicagoland area.
