    Good Morning,

I am wondering if anyone here who is doing their CPA in the state of Illinois, can confirm precisely what kind of experience specifically is accepted by the IDFDR.

After extensive reading of IDFDR website, there are no guidelines of what positions are acceptable by the IDFDR.

Which of the following positions are acceptable (based on your experience): personal tax preparer at HR block? Accounts Receivable clerk? Payroll clerk?

Thank you and have a great day!

Havent decided when I will be writing BEC, FAR, REG, AUD

So, this is what is listed on the application checklist (number 4):

Applicants must have completed at least one (1) year of full-time experience, or
its equivalent, providing any type of service or advice involving the use of
accounting, attest, management advisory, financial advisory, tax, or consulting
skills, which may be gained through employment in government, industry,
    academia, or public practice.

Based on that, I would say HR Block would be a position that would work, but not the other 2. I could be wrong, of course, and would highly recommend you calling IDFPR. My understanding is that you have to have 1 year working under a licensed CPA.
