Hey Everyone,

What are the rules with experience requirements for licensure? NASBA says they don’t deal with the experience aspect of it, but the state I’m being licensed in (New Jersey) says there is a requirement. Do I have to wait for my experience affidavit to be received before applying?

In Louisiana, I was able to use my company's outside auditor at the time, who had audited my work for the past five years, to sign off on my experience. I know someone in Florida who used a member of the board of directors where he worked, who reviewed his financial status monthly.  There seems to be some flexibility in most states.
