I am so tired of studying this garbage. Last section is REG. Take it the end of May. I just don’t have that drive I did when I started this “journey”. Studying is becoming a hellish experience. I would rather go to the dentist than study (100% srs.). Any tips for me? How do you combat burn out syndrome?

I started this journey in January 2012 and essentially haven't really taken a break since. I'm hoping my last exam is this Saturday.

I can understand “burnt out” although a sad part of me is just used to it by now lol.

I'm super burned out too. I have been taking this test since June of 2011.I got really busy at my firm and decided that to drop it because I thought I hated accounting. Then I picked it back up at the end of 2012/beginning of 2013, only to fail FAR, get discouraged and drop it (I also lost a section after I failed FAR). Now, I have three sections left and I'm studying for the first of three, and trying to get them done by August when credit for REG drops off. We're all in the same boat!

AUD: PASSED [81]; Expired, retaking August 23rd
BEC: PASSED [83]; Expired, retaking July 11th
REG: PASSED [83]
FAR: FAILED [64]; Retaking May 23rd

I loose BEC if I don't pass FAR by then. I am pretty scared.

I just wish FAR would stick better in my head. I feel like I am swimming in a deep ocean with no end in sight.

I lose FAR if I don't pass BEC. That is my worst nightmare. I put in 4 hellish months of study time to get that 75!

Kenada, FAR's a lot of material, but I don't doubt you can pass. You've already passed 3 really difficult exams so you can conquer FAR for sure.

OP, I took about a month off, after I found out I passed REG, and that really helped with not being burnt out right now.

I am studying for my last exam also and working full time while being married is not easy! I don't even know how I made it to pass the last three exams at my first try! I know you probably have already taken your last exam by now, but I still I wish you the best of luck! I am going to schedule my last exam (BEC) at the end of May 2014. I feel so sorry for myself.

Everybody wants to have a piece of my time but I have to keep saying no! I reached the point in this journey where I feel like after this exam I will not know what to do with my free time because I was so used to spend it either working or studying!
