For whatever reason, I still have not received a score for BEC. I’m guessing, my written portion is being manually graded. Has anybody had experience with this or read about somebody that did?

I am in the same boat here waiting for BEC. This is driving me nuts, I'd almost rather have the computer failing me than wait around for the human grader who is likely going to fail me anyway. I broke the cardinal rule of exam taking and got stuck on a couple of ridiculously difficult MCQs (which I was NOT expecting in BEC). I wasted all my time with those questions and literary had 10 minutes to write all 3 essays and got cut off mid sentence in the last one!

NASBA should really take pity on us and release all the scores at once. Although I've heard the offical story is that the later release doesn't correlate with how well you did, it seems like a lot of people who post on here say lower scores come out in the second round 🙁 I just want to get the failing over with so I can re apply as quickly as possible. This is my last section and I'm SOOOOO ready to be done with this thing!

Anwyay, thanks for letting me vent my CPA sob story, this is cheaper than therapy!

Hello, let me introduce myself. I am bubble boy. I have not received my BEC score and am subject to actual human grading. The depression of limbo is torture, no healing process, no celebration. Listening to Simon and Garfunkel is prohibited during this waiting process. Pray for your brethren who await human grading. No other part of the exam other than BEC has this purgatory. The Romans just use to take a hot bath and say goodbye. I believe in 75 and hold hope that it will be my time to pass BEC. Please help me, I want it, need it, pray for it. I know this is dramatic, but you dont know my circumstance. Mother died during first BEC try got a 70, studied so hard for round two, half the time spent on REG or AUD and still banished to the bubble? Cant believe it.

Had a fun filled night coaching my son's t-ball and didn't think for a minute about that score……..but now it's midnight and I had to check…..nothing. This sucks!

I know, I know, things could be much worse and in the big scheme of things, this is nothing……but it still sucks!:)

It's not even the not knowing the score, pass/fail, but the not knowing anything about the why, how, when, etc.:(
