    Why thank you.

Yes, according to my flowchart with the funny shaped pseudo geometric shapes, either the states receive the scores from AICPA or they are sent to NASBA for distribution. States decide on whether or not to use NASBA which I'm sure charges a pretty penny.

Speaking of Snail Mail, I usually receive my score in the mail from NASBA about 4-5 business days after they are posted online. Last window they had an "IT" or some delay in posting scores, but I received my score via mail in 2 days after my score was available from NASBA's website. Does the IT issue affect NASBA's ability to mail out scores? Is it possible that I (or All NASBA candidates) could receive our scores via mail before NASBA posts them? If they sent them out on Thursday (the which they were trying to post) then will it be possible to see them in my mailbox Monday or Tuesday?

gman – I called NASBA last week and they told me that they will mail the scores next week, so I doubt we would get them in the mail by Monday/Tuesday of this coming week.

I know this from studying the IT section for this test. Here is my ulta high-tech answer to this IT problem they are having:

    Print out scores.

    FedEx to NASBA

Have 10 people answer the phone for candidates to call & ask.

10,500 candidates, 1 minutes per call to ask d.o.b & section ID & to give score = All scores out in 17.5 hours. Figure 1/4 don't know about this & wait without seeing these blogs & now it's 13.125 hours. Figure 30 sec to handle each call & its a little over 6 1/2 hours. All done in one day. But then again, the high tech way is working so well right now.

    Ok, bitterness out.

Question – If it's AICPA & NASBA's computers not talking to each other, does that mean NASBA does not have the scores & then it's another 24-48 hours after the IT troubles are fixed?? We could be talking at least Wednesday now?

Abandon all hope all ye who just want their damn score & to get on with life.

Jeff – I second baijukb – thank you very much for the updates. Not sure who you have contact with at NASBA but is there anyway you can express our frustration to them? We need to do it in a respectful way of course but if there is anyway we can light a fire under them, maybe they will get serious about fixing this for next window and all the following. Selfishly I want it for next window, but even if it takes them a year to get their ducks in order, I think those who follow us would be better off – maybe they wouldn't have to have a weekend like we just had:-)

Thanks for all your time you put into this.

I understand the frustration and I can tell that they're doing everything they can to expedite the scores.

Remember when they used to come out at 4am? I expressed to them how great it would be if they could be bumped up earlier in the que – i.e. 9pm vs 3am and they moved it to serve the candidates.

I'll talk to the NASBA people tomorrow to get an update…hopefully it will get fixed.

    Jeff,

If they are still having computer problems please give them this website: http://www.dell.com Maybe they can find something there that will correct the issue. Ha Ha

Sorry but studying for FAR makes me mean and waiting on scores makes me even meaner.

as was so detailed in the IT section of the BEC exam, maybe NASBA should switch from batch processing to online real-time score posting. i mean, personally i am not too concerned with the security regarding my score as long as I get it in a reasonable time period. One month for a multiple choice exam is embarassing.
