Please hear me out of this everyone. Ive put a lot of thought into this situation over the past 24 hours.
Last window they had an IT issue they thought they fixed it. This window they have an IT issue theyll think they fixed it. Any guess on next window? My guess is theyll have another one because they lack the incentive to really put their best effort into dealing with this.
Solution:
Ive wanted to call the 800 number or my state rep and give them a piece of my mind several times but then thought the people we talk to dont have any say in the matter and arent responsible whatsoever. Doing so would only make their day worse and accomplish nothing. We shouldn't take our frustration out of people who just work for NASBA.
However, somewhere within NASBA is a guy or lady or maybe a group who has made the conscious decision NOT to invest in appropriate equipment/systems. Via their annual report, revenues were $24MM and increase to net assets were $4MM so that decision wasnt made due to lack of funds.
Homework for the weekend: we need to figure out who is the director of IT and what his/her extension is and e-mail address. On Monday, Id say we each leave him/her a message and an e-mail. Maybe 5,000 voicemails will send a message. Unfortunately, public servants tend to only react when they are uncomfortable the squeakiest wheel gets the grease scenario.
Thoughts? I know the NASBA extensions are 4 digits. Has anyone ever seen an org chart?
