    Hello BEC Study Group!

According to NINJA-MCQ, capital asset ratio is one of the examples of financial performance measures. I've been searching the web to know the exact formula for it. However, I am only seeing capital-to-asset ratio.

Are capital asset ratio and capital-to-asset ratio the same?

    Thanks guys!!

@cpa8488 I got 60% computations and 40% conceptual. Check out the favorite topics I posted earlier. Econ was not my favorite topic. ^_^ if you know what I mean.

@cpa8488 no long computations. just know the basics of those topics and you'll be fine.

@aspiring1accountant – don't give up. keep trying and you'll be fine on test day. Ninja mcq is a big help. my big mistake was not able to go through each one of them during my first time.

@amorD I'm not to sure but i will find out a little later on. Funny enough out of all the ratios that I have seen for BEC, I have not noticed a capital to asset ratio but then again that doesnt mean much because they seem like they can all be transformed into something else.

I started the method later on in the day today after I got fed up with ninja lol. So I went to “review befor exam” clicked progress test and did the max questions. I think it's 1,360. I answered the first question then clicked exit. Then I went to “review” the progress test. I covered the answer section with a piece of paper and I'm reading the question and figuring out the answer. Then I move the paper and check and move on. Some questions I'm confident in so I skip them (I did the test bank already). The longer computational ones I'm re-doing. So it's been working out great. However, Im only on question 160 lol so I don't think I'm going to be able to make it threw all 1,360 questions by sat. I'm going to definitely do a lot tomorrow and Thursday. And do some in the morning Friday. I purposely made plans Friday night so I don't srudy and get burnt out. Plus I have to figure a few hours to devote to the WC. Should've thought of this idea a week ago! Oh well…

Just got back awhile ago from test, im using about 4 sources of info (albeit some of if outdated) and I would say that there was about 5-8 percent of stuff i had never seen before in my life. Im hoping that most of that was pre-test questions but who knows. To all the NASBA monitors out there if you are out there, why cant you just ask us tough question clearly like we studied instead of attempting to trick us on the simple stuff? I sincerely dont get that?

    #655958

@cdwolf Hope you did well! And I hear ya. NASBA likes to see us suffer. Overall, how did you think the exam was? Was it more conceptual or computational? Yeah, consensus is that a lot of extraneous crap gets thrown into the exam (I'm assuming it is pretest).

By the way Jeff, I like your product, but one request on the mcq bank: I use the mcq bank and try to make progress with my trending and averages (i.e. instead of just skipping repeated mcq's i already know the answer to once they appear). Request: can you offer a way so we can flag questions we dont want to want to see again. Alternatively, can you give a second parelell test bank where we can be careless with our scores (i.e. skipping through questions we dont want to answer and not worrying about our scores).

Im aware programming can be expensive but you did have two test banks on my page for awhile during the beginning of January as i recall, I used one as a practice bank and the other as a real bank. Maybe that would not take too much resources to offer?

In any event, thanks for your products. Very pleased with all!

hey fighting…funny thats my mantra…..collecting points..fighting for points.

I have a theory about your q, its a guess just from reading on this site that maybe if you get a medium, hard, hard sequence then you might have more calcs. If you get a medium, medium, ect sequence then maybe you get more verbal q's. Mine was definately as others had mentioned….v good amount of calcs. Ironically, I wished it had less calcs since with the clock ticking it renders the art of calculations a very handicapped one to say the least.

    Hope that answers your gist.

Good Morning! I took off studying last night and instead had a strong drink and went to sleep early. Now refreshed and ready to hit this stuff hard and wrap it up. We can do this! *Eye of the Tiger plays in the background*

CPA8488 – Are you planning to do any more Ninja MCQ? Or are you going to just go through the Becker questions like explained above. I am going to spend the next 3 days at work looking through the Becker questions like you explained. It takes the pressure off while still gaining some information.

As for NINJA—I got my average up by taking the questions in sections. There are still a lot I have not seen. I haven't seen about 550. I am just going to work through the adaptive learning phase tonight and tomorrow night. It isn't how I answer these questions. It is how I answer the 72 on Saturday.

EVERYONE — How do you all plan to study for the WC? I have listened to the lecture. I will go back through the book and look at the chapter devoted to it. Not sure what else.

I've also quit doing ninja as it only continues to depress me since I have all the stupid hard questions to go over. I'm back going over my problem areas with CPAexcel questions and I'm also doing the same as cpa8488 with the exams. I'm not too worried about the WC since I'm fairly decent writer and bs my way through it but, the general rule is to have proper grammar and throw in the key concepts the computer looks for. I've practiced a few in Ninja and it seems pretty straightforward. The hardest part is knowing the concepts to throw in so, the more mcq you do and concept you know, the better.
