I have a question that I hope you can help me with…. I purchased the Becker CD’s and installed them on my PC. I have taken and passed all but one of the exams (BEC left).. I was checking to see if my software was up to date and noticed an expiration date of November 2013.. Does this mean my software ( downloaded from my CD’s) will no longer work after November….or will it no longer be supported but I can still take practice exams and do study questions etc?

@MickeywanttopassI too am struggling to get through the BEC material.Just plain burnt out. Getting a failing score on Friday for REG isn't helping matters much. On a positive note I did manage a 73 so I wasn't so far off. Even still I am having a hard time focusing on BEC and my exam is on Thursday!! I feel like I am not prepared at all for this this exam….

@Skrier same here I started studying for BEC last Sun and my exam is on Thursday as well and I am not feeling so great about the material but I don't know how I will deal with a fail score I have been working/studying everyday since Jun from morning to like midnight I am just tired I want to go to sleep, to spend sometime with other people I have no social life :(. so I will do my best the next few days but I am not sure if that will help me to get to 75 but might as well try

thank you Mickeywanttopass! I am going to do two progress tests today and hopefully I hit the 90 mark and feel better! With your grades I am sure you will pass just do the same thing you did for the other exams and you should be fine! besides this is your last test!!!! you will be done forever!!! how exciting is that?? that alone should be enough motivation to get it done 🙂

@ljrpr- this is what I use for call and puts and it works every time

CALL UP – use a call when the other currency is going up (buy the currency at a lower rate to pay A/P)

PUT DOWN – use a put when the other currency is going down (sell currency at a higher rate when getting paid A/R)

@ mickeywanttopass… This is my last section too and I can totally relate to how u feel… I quit my job a year and a half ago because of my pain in the # boss… I decided to complete my CPA and in the meanwhile had a baby (she is 3 months now)… So hard for me to stay away from my little one and concentrate on BEC…I just want to be done already …so I can move on with life…but, we all have worked very hard to get this far and there is no stopping us now… It's almost as if we are at the finish line and have to just push a little harder to get across that line… So lets keep it going !!! Good luck !!!

Thanks @ lmendez2. The pie (my brain) slowly making sense of all this foreign language. With four days I need all the help available.

Good luck to all BEC ninjas this week. I wish they (AICPA & NASBA) give us a break because of the score release stress. But I will study just in case they forget what they put us through. 🙂

I did find a lot of things I missed the first time through that I picked up the second time around. Econ and IT seem to be the weak spots for me, mostly memorization. I seem to have a mental block with the BEC material. Exam scheduled for Thursday and struggling with variance analysis…any suggestions on how to absorb this??
