I have a question that I hope you can help me with…. I purchased the Becker CD’s and installed them on my PC. I have taken and passed all but one of the exams (BEC left).. I was checking to see if my software was up to date and noticed an expiration date of November 2013.. Does this mean my software ( downloaded from my CD’s) will no longer work after November….or will it no longer be supported but I can still take practice exams and do study questions etc?

    @determined1

Below is just from a quick glance at my notes of what I need to work on:

    APR

    Asset Turnover

    Avg. Collection Period

    Bond Yield Risk Premium

CAPM model (this one FINALLY clicked today – woo hoo!)

    Inflation

    Cost of Preferred Stock

    Elasticity of Demand/Supply

    GDP/GDI

    IRR

    Inventory Conversion Period

    Inventory Turnover

    # Days Sales in Inventory

    Operating Leverage

    AP Deferral Period

    PI

    ROI

    Zero Coupon Bond Rate

Hope it helps point on certain ones you may have forgotten about 🙂

Ugh. I keep doing 100 MCQ progress tests and I'm averaging at 80%. Got a 77% this evening after work.

Fucking… B6 is consistently my lowest section. I should probably try to review this information one more time methinks, but lots of people have told me that the information in B6 tends to not really be heavily tested.

No excuses. I've identified my weakness so I need to tackle it head on instead of trying to dodge it.

Hedging, random ass formulas, probability, and internal auditing standards…. here I come. 🙁

    FAR: 50, 76!
REG: 74... (ouch baby, very ouch), 76!
    AUD: 65, 91!?
    BEC: 80! Aaaand doneskies!

    May 2012 to August 2013. Can't believe it's over.

We can do this @infernoomni…I just shut my computer mid-practice test out of frustration then decided to open it up, review what was frustrating me and I'll get back to it. 5 more days and we can relax! 🙂

@seattleacct This Saturday, the 24th. I felt confident this morning after passing 4 out of 5 practice exams since Saturday, but I'm at a low point right now. Reviewing my formula sheets now to prep for another practice test. What is your process tonight/the rest of your time until Sunday?

    @oilgas

My routine/process used for all sections consists of twice watching lectures + MCQ. Once working out sims. Research on internet any subject that got wrong on MCQ or did not get from lecture.

As of today, the list of things that need to be completed by Sat 24th (test Sunday 25th am):

    1. B-6 second time lecture, MCQ, few sims.

    2. 2 Becker finals, take notes on all missed.

    3. AICPA 2013 released questions (already completed 2011-2012)

    4. 1 day set aside for Wiley 24hr free trial

    5. Thumb thru the book for the final visual experience.

    And that will be it!

So I took another practice test – I'm passing them all, but barely (avg 76-78). I'm getting nervous that the concepts I keep missing are never going to stick by Saturday and that I'll see a lot of them on the actual exam which will bring my score down 🙁
