I have a question that I hope you can help me with…. I purchased the Becker CD’s and installed them on my PC. I have taken and passed all but one of the exams (BEC left).. I was checking to see if my software was up to date and noticed an expiration date of November 2013.. Does this mean my software ( downloaded from my CD’s) will no longer work after November….or will it no longer be supported but I can still take practice exams and do study questions etc?

Hi everyone! I am joining this group after my frustrating results with BEC my first time around this year. I just sat for AUD, which I am hoping for a pass on Monday.

I know that I can pass this exam…it was my first pass 3 years ago! My only pass for that matter. And from experience, I can definitely attest to others' statements that you should not underestimate this exam. I think my recent failure was due to the fact that I gave it 4 weeks and not my all in terms of studying time, especially early on when I unexpectedly got busy at work and I was not using the NINJA method (gasp!). I basically switched studying strategies with 2 weeks left, which at that point, I was already cramming and really struggling to get through all the material once.

This time around, I am going to study way smarter and follow the NINJA method because I think it just makes so much sense and makes studying time so much more focused. Sitting here at Starbucks, I am ready to get cranking on my Becker lectures. Let's do this!

    BEC: 73, 81
    AUD: 85
    FAR: 71, 77
    REG: 74, 75...finally DONE! 😀

*This is my 2nd attempt at the CPA exam. For all of you who have failed this exam many times, given up on it, or taken a break like me, remember that it is still possible to finish what you started...failure is the opportunity to begin again more intelligently 🙂

    Hello everyone,

I am new to this thread.

Do you know if any major changes to the material happened since 2011 Becker edition?

(I am planning to use Becker 2011 supplemented with Wiley test bank)

    Thanks

    Hi! Hope everyone pass BEC!

I'm still waiting for my NTS… I applied for NH since I just started my master program and I only have 126 semester hours. Anyway, I plan to pass all four exams before my graduation (I think is in June, 2014) and then I'll start to look for jobs. I want to take BEC first and I started studying for Wiley 2013 four days ago. I will buy Becker Self Study after I got my NTS.

Here is what I plan to do:

I can manage to study BEC at least 30 hours per week. Luckily I don't have to work, I still am a full time graduate student though. I heard that it would take 2-3 weeks to get NTS. Hopefully, I could finish Wiley before I get the notice.

A friend of mine has already passed 3 exams including BEC, and she said that BEC was the easiest one and that she only spent two weeks on it and passed the exam!!!!! I really want to feel “I'm ready” before walking into the test center, so I'll spent 2 months on it…

    Good luck to everybody!

    I Can Do This!!!!!

    BEC: 89
    AUD: 99
    REG: 93
    FAR: 8/2/2014

Finally done with B1 lectures. That took forever and a day. My procrastination did not help either :/ What are the chances I can knock out 20 hrs of lectures over the weekend?

    BEC: 73, 81
    AUD: 85
    FAR: 71, 77
    REG: 74, 75...finally DONE! 😀
