Ok I am desperate for some help. I have been reading the book and listening to the lectures for BEC IT with Becker… But the homework questions ask stuff that was definitely not in the book. Am I missing something? Are we already expected to know a bit about IT or am I not comprehending what the book is saying? I keep scoring awful scores on it all and I am just so confused and becoming increasingly frustrated.

Disclaimer, I took BEC in first quarter, pre exam change.

You should look into the two week free trial to Wiley CPAexcel. They have tons of topics and questions on IT. I made an 83 and only studied with Wiley. I think I would have done several points better if I had managed my time better. I left 50 minutes for the three WC, which should have been fine, but I was so focused on the first essay question that I lost track of time. I had less than 15 minutes to answer the other two essays. There were several IT questions that was pretty much straight out of my study MCQ.

If you do look into Wiley, ignore the videos and only look at the text and questions.

I feel like Yaeger prepared me well for IT. But it might have been the luck of the draw on my exam? They aren't using the old Wiley books, so the information is more up to date than that book was. And it's all aligned with the blueprints. Might be worth giving them a try to help supplement?
