    Today was the dreadful day. I went into the test feeling unprepared. I figured there would be a decent amount of calculation questions. But oh no, the CPA gods probably handed me the easiest test in the world. I had maybe 4 or 5 questions that I had to use the calculator. I didn’t even use a whole sheet of paper for notes…The conceptual questions seemed SO easy. They were all on topics that have been heavily covered; HOWEVER, it was like they were on aspects of the topics that were not discussed. All of the answers were so obtuse, I could barely do a process of elimination. The writing section was crap, my topics were insane and I BS’d the best I could. I walked out there feeling more pissed than defeated. I would have preferred the test to have been extremely hard and I failed than simple questions that could have been answered easily. Anyways, hopefully the some miracle happens and I pass because I HATE BEC. 🙂

    I also took BEC yesterday. Compared to Becker, the exam was a lot more straight forward and the length of questions were shorter. I also got a lot of super random questions with stuff i have never even heard of before. I even made a mental note of those questions and looked in the textbook later and still couldn't find the right answers. I also have no idea if my testlets were getting harder or not because it all just seemed like “you know it or you don't.” I know there were a bunch of trick questions in there, which was frustrating too. My writting sections were also SUPER specific about random topics. I had a hard time with two of them and had to BS as much as i could. This exam was definitely a different exam experience than FAR. The up side is that we only have to wait a week to get our scores instead of a month like most exams.

    FAR: 74 1/15/16, 72 7/2/16 -_-
    BEC: TBD
    REG: TBD
    AUD: TBD

    I definitely felt the difficulty increase in modules 2 and 3…hoping that's a good sign. I had about 15 IT questions…if not more…which was easily my weakest area.Some of them were easy, thank GOD! Lots of COSO. Some weird stuff I'd never seen/heard of before. There were cirve balls, as others suggested. A fair bit of calculation, which is my strength. I found the challenge on the writing section to keep it simple…I hit that area with an hour and a half and found myself running on a bit long.

    AUD - 96
    BEC - 84
    FAR - 89
    REG - 86
    Aaron and always remember, YMMV

    I profit from your CPE frustration. You're welcome.

    @guitarman2016 I think we had the same test!!! My WC was also very specific on topics that I knew very little about. I BS'd as best as I could. There wasn't a lot of meat to my responses but they seemed sufficient. I pray that we get a passing grade!!!!

    @aaronmo
    It sounds like you did very well! I am hoping for a passing grade for you!
