I wrote this in the bec exam experience page but wanted to hear a bit more from people who have passed.

So I just took this exam. First testlet went ok. Second testlet was much harder so I must’ve done ok on the first. The difficulty of testlet two really messed me up, kinda felt crushed by it. maybe got like 8-9 wrong. Third testlet got much easier (so it confirms i messed the second teslet) I felt like i did pretty good on it . WC were easy and should get most points here.

Should I be worried about the second testlet?

I don't think you should be too concerned– the way it works was designed to give you the opportunity to earn some extra points with some harder questions (that are worth more points), but they don't take off points for wrong answers. It sounds like you were still able to earn the basic points in testlet 2 and just didn't get some of the extra credit questions.

I'm pretty sure my AUD exam was medium/hard/medium, and I still passed.

I think that the difficulty of the testlets is very subjective and I wouldn't worry about it at all. I have taken three exams so far and walked out of all of them with no idea if each testlet got easier or more difficult. My scores have all been fine, so I don't even attempt to rank the testlets.

That's probably smart– thinking about that during the test can mess with a person's head.
