Hey everyone, I have 2 quick questions about the BEC written sections.

    1) How long should they be?

    2) How spot on do they have to be in terms of subject matter?

This may help with the first question: https://www.another71.com/cpa-exam-forum/topic/bec-wc-questions

There is some debate as to whether or not you're graded on content, but regardless, you MUST address the content matter. Throwing in keywords always helps. Lots of times you can copy and paste stuff straight from the prompt. I think it's been a little over two years since they started the BEC written communication section, so if you're worried about getting questions from exams you haven't taken yet, there is probably a reduced chance of that happening.

Mine were 3 simple paragraphs, ranging from 2-5 sentences each. Include key words, and yes you must address the topic. I think its more important to be free of grammatical errors/spelling and have proper format than subject matter. There is a good chance a topic will show up that you are not knowledgeable about. And remember these are memos not essays, so its important to be succinct and professional.

Just read a couple of examples and you should be well prepared.

    Done ^_^
