So my situation I think is unique. I was finishing up my third simulation question and rereading it for accuracy…when all of a sudden BAM! I ran out of time and the screen kicked me out of my proofreading.. so I didn’t get a chance to click on finish the exam or whatever the option to leave the exam is…. I think the way I wrote the communication I would get some points, but if you run out of time what happens?

Does your communication transmit and will it get graded?

or will it only transmit the 2 “finished” essays and give me no credit for the third one? If anyone knows the answer to this, please help!

I have read this same thing happening to other candidates often— I think you'll be just fine.. your test will be saved and graded regardless of whether or not you clicked the ‘finish' button…

no worries– I think your fine 🙂

See the above link from the AICPA pg 3 Under “exam responses”. You made me nervous because the same thing happened to me. We are fine! Auto saves every 30 seconds. I assume the last auto save is right when time runs out.

So, if you change something when you have 30 second or less on your exam, that changes is not saved?

Thank you all for your response. I passed with an 84 so I am assuming they got my essays!
