So I took BEC today and here is my experience. The first testlet was pretty easy…the second testlet was harder for me…Lastly, the written communication was eh. I only knew one of the topics asked and for the ones I didn’t I made up some answers throwing in the keywords given in the prompt. Hopefully this is the last exam I ever have to take.

@CPANNOYING – stick with Becker. Becker alone is more than sufficient for BEC.

Took BEC today. First testlet was very doable but took more time, second MCQ testlet: woof. Just hard and I think most of my pretest were in that testlet. I had 6 MCQ on a section Wiley has like 3 questions on. TBS were not hard to me. WC was WC, tried to focus on key words and say stuff that made sense about the keywords.

Ya'll are scaring me!! I sit for BEC on August 3rd, but after reading this, I might have to push it back a week. I'm using Wiley and have completed about 15 of the IT sections so far. Some of them are interesting, and I can see why it would be important for us to know. For the most part though, I'm sitting here like really?? I guess I've just got to suck it up and get it over with. :/ I don't know why I was under the impression that BEC is supposed to be the “easiest” of the exams.

I did it!! Finally a licensed CPA!!

GG they made Q3 BEC way too hard, as someone who passed the other 3 sections. I predict a 45% pass rate.

I’m finding that I’m struggling with Bec material more than any other section. Maybe b/c there are so many random topics along with random calculations needing a formula memorized.
