I took BEC on Saturday after studying with Becker for 6 weeks. I also used the NINJA notes and audio.

My first MCQ testlet started off difficult and I felt I didn’t know how to answer about 8 questions. I spent a lot of time on this testlet. The second testlet was easier, but I still flagged 5 questions. The 3 sims were easier than expected with no calculations at all, so I felt ok about those except for a couple of my answers of course. The 3 WC I was able to answer 2 decently well and 1 of them I sort of BSed, but I made sure to try and use all the keywords in the question in my response and I even threw in key words that may have been incorrect in regards to the answer they wanted, but was related to the topic.

I finished with 3 minutes on the clock. With AUD & REG, I finished with a lot of time on the clock. Before passing AUD, I had failed it and used almost the entire time length too, so I feel nervous that my BEC experience will be the same as the first time I took AUD & failed miserably.

When I left the testing center, I was pretty bummed. When I passed AUD I knew I did when I left the test. When I passed REG, I felt it could go either way, but felt more towards a pass. I am heading into tax season and won’t have time to retake BEC until after 4/15 if I failed.

What’s everyone else experience or feelings towards my experience? If you failed, did you feel this way or were you expecting to pass when you walked out of the test? I’m not sure how to gage my feelings towards this BEC experience.

I took BEC last Friday and felt the same way. The first section was very difficult and took a long time. The second one was super easy. The simulations were mostly calculations for me and the questions for the writing comprehension were very random
