I walked out of BEC feeling like I did okay on the multiple choice (2nd testlet was harder than the first), but I had to rush through the sims so that I can give myself one hour to finish the WC. I literally guessed on some of the simulations. Has anyone felt like they bombed the sims but ended up passing?

Anyone know when California is going to get released? I've been sitting here refreshing for the last 35 minutes, finally got into the CBA website and it isn't in yet.

I have no idea how bc my FAR exam had an IFRS sim and ridiculously obscure MCQs, but I passed with a 92. Honestly, beyond shocked.

FAR is a lot less “judgmental” AUD seemed to test the thought process/ professional judgment of being an auditor in my opinion.

@Della, are you using CPA Central's dashboard? Mine still says n/a on there, but my score is up on the NASBA single sign-on page.

I tried to post something longer here but it won't let me. I don't know what's wrong with it. Let me try again:

Cayb, it's all in good fun LOL I'm just poking at you, don't take it seriously. I can't imagine having to wait a whole quarter for scores. The next one I take won't be as bad, it's on the 7th of Sept and the release is the 19th and since I'll have one this quarter I should be able to do the eyeball trick. And I passed FAR with an 84. I loved Financial Accounting in school (had a 4.0 in accounting and was either 1st or 2nd highest grade in my Financial accounting classes), but there's a lot of stuff on there that is obscure and also specialized, like pensions.

If you failed, don't feel bad. It's a hard test. If you're thinking that maybe you should give up, don't. If you give up you'll never know what you could have been. And it will eat at you. If you decide that you don't want to do this any more, and you want to do something else instead, that's okay, that's not giving up, that's changing directions. But don't run away from something without having something to run toward.

“Success is failure turned inside out, the silver tint of the clouds of doubt. And you never can tell how close you are, it may be near when it seems so far. So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit. It's when things seem worst that you must not quit.” This poem hung in the managers office of a certain retail store where I worked two decades ago. It's taken me twenty years to figure out what I'm doing with my life. I regret nothing. And you shouldn't either.

Just one more to go – AUD!

    AUD - 85
    BEC - 92
    FAR - 84
    REG - 88
I've found an anomaly in the Space-Time Continuum. NASBA and the AICPA are in the 19th century. They use slide rules to score the exam, and then they send the scores by Pony Express to the State Boards. That's why it takes so long for them to do a score release.

Ahh sorry for the delay Della! You have to register separately to get a NASBA CPA Candidate account (NASBA SSO).
