Securities in Bank Safe Deposit Box

    I’m studying AUD right now, and I keep reading that entities will put their securities into Bank Safe Deposit Boxes . . . ? Can someone explain why this is done in 2021? Are they saying that companies actually have printed out bonds/stocks and they are put into safes in a bank?
