    Hi all,

Long story short, I was supposed to have off until my AUD exam on Thursday but I now have to work all next week besides exam day. That leaves today, tomorrow, and any time after work to study.

I am currently averaging around 75% correct on my last 1,200 MCQ tries. I don’t have as nearly as much studying time as I’m used to now and I’m looking for advice on how to smartly use my limited time.

Current plan: continue to do around 120-150 MCQs a day, do all the of the NINJA sims over the next 5 days, do the second Wiley practice Exam (got a 77% on the first) and do the AICPA practice exam at least 2 times. I will watch the Ninja BLITZ videos and continue to listen to the Audio on my commute. I also read through/copied the NINJA notes over the last couple days and will at least read them again.

Any advice on anything I am missing or should do? I’m not nearly as confident going into this as I was for FAR and REG.

Also, I already delayed this exam once and I can’t delay again or I will have to push BEC to Q2. I’ve been reviewing MCQs for a month now and I think pushing it again will lead to over-studying.

    Thanks!

I just took it last week and felt the same way going in. I was making 70-75 my last week (with a 60 or two mixed in) but then felt better about the exam experience than any of my others. I don't have my score back yet but I'll be suprised if I didn't pass. Hammer all the reports and opinions for audits, as well as SSAE and SSARS stuff.

    BEC - 87
    FAR - 84
    REG - 90

Did you try to memorize the reports or just know the basic structure? I figured it wouldn't be the best use of time to try to memorize them at this point.

I didn't memorize the entire thing and there isn't much value in doing so. Just knowing the general contents of each section, as well as the location of each major section in the audit report (for both issuers and non-issuers) is good enough.

Thanks. I really appreciate the feedback. I'm hoping to pass this, cram for BEC on March 9th, and get my life back.

You'll do well if you are scoring 75-ish in the practice sets. Don't stress about it too much. Couple more things (not to overwhelm you) that I just thought about are engagement and rep letter contents.

If you have mostly used NINJA, I would run the detailed progress report and let it give you an idea of where you are really weak. Don't try to study every little area that shows you've missed a couple of questions, but if a particular area has more than 10 questions and you've scored 50-60%, I'd put some focus on it this week. Wiley has something similar if you have done MCQ on that platform. I have mainly let my incorrect answers guide me on where to study throughout this process and have never been let down with that strategy.
