So this is the first time sitting for the exam and I sat for AUD yesterday. I felt very comfortable with the MCQ, my testlets got progressively harder and I scored 89% on the becker final exams consistently and don’t have a reason to think I did any worse or better. I had 3 hours left to complete the sims and writing and good thing because the sims were pretty tough. I honestly have no idea how I did on them, and they were basically all on my weak topics. I was on topic/ responded somewhat correctly for writing, checked spelling and grammar and pretty sure I got the research questions. Nonetheless, I felt crappy and anxious after the exam. Can someone with experience share some insight with me? This is my first time sitting for the exam and I have no idea what it all means. Hehe Thank you.

Well, after I took FAR I felt completely humiliated. I would say I studied like 120 hours in a 6-week period and I definitely thought I failed, even though my testlets got harder. Turns out I made an 81. For that exam, I was making like 75% on my Becker practice exams.

For AUD I studied about 80-90 hours and was making high 80s on my practice exams. My 2nd MCQ testlet was harder, then my 3rd seemed easier. Once I got to the sims I had around 3 hours left, so I took my time. Mine were really hard, so I utilized the research tab to look pretty much everything up. I'm glad I thought to use that. Without it, I would have been in bad shape. Who knows how I did (I took it 2 weeks ago), but I felt pretty crappy coming out of it, like when I took FAR. Its pretty hard to judge your score, in my opinion, based on how you felt coming out of the exam.

Best of luck! (Now its time to crawl back in my REG hole til 5/3)

    NY Candidate using Becker: FAR (2/20) - 81, AUD (4/3) - 92, REG (5/3) - 95, BEC (5/29) - 89 DONE!!!

Final exams….did you all do a bunch of MCQ before you took the final exams. Are u just taking the MCQ over again until u get them all right, or just passing through them, then taking the final exams?

    Thanks

I would recommend trying as many MCQ as possible and in all the sections and then taking one of the final exams about a week before your exam, or at the start at your final review, so you can get a good idea of what areas you need most work on. I took my second final exam the day before the actual exam. Try to understand not only the ones you got wrong, but why you got the questions right. It’s a cliché, but the more questions that you see, the more prepared you will be for the MCQs.
