I passed FAR and is going to take AUD in a week. Working through the Beckers final review before doing the mock exams.

How is FAR compare to AUD in terms of difficulty? What works for you when you review AUD during your last week before taking the exam?

    AUD - 84
    BEC - 89
    FAR - 84
    REG - NINJA in Training

I was more confident coming out of FAR than I was coming out of AUD. Most of that could be the amount of financial accounting courses I've had (countless) versus the auditing courses I've had (one). The MCQs were a tad easier than those provided by Becker. I thought the SIMs were more difficult than FAR.

Overall, take your time and reason through the questions. Using the authoritative literature on several SIMs also helped.

    AUD - 76
    BEC - 84
    FAR - 84
    REG - 81

Aud should be much easier then FAR..Aud basicaly asks the differences in reports, internal controls and then has you review work papers..

FAR is called the beast for a reason. It always baffles me when I see people take BEC first and leave FAR last on here only to not be able to pass it and then lose credits elsewhere…silly kids.

I thought AUD was pretty easy. There is also a reason most people recommend AUD after Far. There was a good bit of overlap. Honestly, I have always struggled with AUD throughout college and was pretty worried about this exam, so I also put in some extra effort on the studying side.

    AUD - 88
    BEC - 87
    FAR - 80
    REG - 91

@Adam Some people take the parts strategically – they take their easiest part first so that if their 18 months expires, they get to retake the part they are strongest at. I work in tax so I took REG first for this reason. There's a possibility my 18 months will run out. If I lose any part, I am reallyyyy happy it's REG and not BEC or FAR! Words can not describe to you how much I HATE BEC and hope to never look at it again lol. I don't mind restudying REG. Tax is fun for me. So it's a lot less burden on me mentally to think I would have to retake parts which I found near impossible the first time I passed it… I would be so discouraged if I lost it.

For me Audit is harder than FAR. In FAR, you can manipulate the questions if you know the concept and can come up with answer. However in Audit, it seems easier while studying but if you do not understand the details, you could be understanding the concept in totally wrong ways. I almost lost my FAR credit due to Audit. I eventually passed after doing GLEIM sims.

    AUD - 76
    BEC - 75
    FAR - 76
    REG - 77
