Okay – well I know why I failed and it’s because I didn’t put a whole lot of “oomph” into my studying on my AUD retake. Having my baby in April made it pretty challenging to take AUD in May (so I ended up with a 70 because I couldn’t pound out the MCQs like I should have or even get comfortable with the SIMs). This time around I just started a new job end of July and had AUD set for end of August – once again having a new baby, new job just took top priority slaying AUD. I actually only read the Becker textbook for a week – no MCQs or SIMs…my question is this – I have one shot left at AUD before I lose FAR in early November. I know I made a muck of not prioritizing over the past few months but given that I got a 70 without practicing any MCQs/SIMs for 4+ mths I am wondering if I should pick up some additional material to really hone in on the nuances of AUD and nail it to the wall come late October. I have Becker, Ninja notes/flashcards/audio/blitz and the Wiley textbook. I was looking at Roger CPA for AUD and have heard good things about his energy level and making the material relatable. Would it make sense to get new material or just do MCQs/SIMs from various sites to drive home the concepts?
