when did you take your AUD? how was it? was it difficult?

Hey everyone – I want to take AUD on Nov.30.. Has anyone been successful in registering for the Notice to Schedule and finding an open seat at a prometric center a week before the exam? I plan on registering for the NTS on 11/23 and want to sit for 11/30. In the past I have received my NTS 3 days after registering.

To be honest, it's probably a little too late. Most people try to get in their exams before the “off” month begins and you'll probably have a hard time finding a location that has open spaces. The issue would not be with your NTS but rather with the test center spaces… Two weeks ago I tried to reschedule the exam that i have on the 24th to the 30th but there were no more spaces left… But you never know, maybe your location has more spaces than mine!

Thanks CPAdancer.. I'm going to give it a shot.. I figure I am going to cram AUD hard this next week and hopefully get a seat for 11/30.. Finding out I passed FAR last night really gave me motivation to move forward. I start work 12/1 and since there is no testing in December I figure the worst that can happen is that I have to re take it in January. At least I will have learned the material and have seen what the test looks like if I can sit on 11/30.

50percentcpa, congratulations! I not only did NOT get my AUD score during this wave but failed FAR by 4 points in the last window… so I'm taking it again on Tuesday… I had been hoping that a good AUD score would give me a positive boost to keep studying. Guess I have to find my own motivation! Good luck!

Can someone please answer a Q for me regarding simulations?

For the audit – written part of the simulation, can you answer by looking up information on the research tab of the question? Because during my practice of simulations, I was just answering Q's by using the research tab. Would this work on the real exam? Thanks.

cpa_is_ruining_my_life – yes, you can do this and AUD is the only exam where you would probably have enough time to do this as well.
