    Lisa2bcpa,

Thank you very much for the information. I have to find out more about the Ethics exam. I heard there is good software for it. I will stay on this board because I know I may need more guidance in this process. Of course I will be in touch with the CA BOA too.

Also, thanks Daisy. I wish you well. It sure was one heck of a lot of work. Hundreds of hours for each exam. Like everyone else says, so glad to be done.

    Hello everyone,

Did anyone take/pass AUD with Becker recently? If so, how did you handle the change in the Internal Control (SAS 115 and SSAE 15)? Becker website is saying both old and new rules will be tested on the exam and I find it too confusing… Should I do the questions at all related to the old rules? Or just focus on the updated theory posted on Becker website?

Elena – I used Becker as well to study for AUD and I just studied everything in the book as well as answered all the multiple choice questions. I never went to the website to check for updates! I think that is just information overload! I would still do the questions related to the old rules.

    AUD - 84; REG - 90; BEC - 79; FAR - 75; ALL DONE!!

    lkbcpa2b,

Thanks for your support. I appreciate it. It was so frustrating to miss my last exam by 1 point. I am so very happy this is over. It took 18 months to get through all the exams from start of studying to the date of getting last score. That one point cost me an extra 2 months of looking for a job since I had to study instead. Glad that I passed but I will see what happens in the job market.

I still need my experience part of the licensing procedure. I have actually worked the last 3 tax seasons for 3 different small public Acctng. firms. However, this still adds up to less than 12 months. I need to contact my BOA to find about the best pathway for me. Also, one of the CPA firms I worked for as a contractor so I am not sure if this qualifies as work experience. I am not even sure if any of the 3 firms would qualify under any pathway yet. I hope to find out next week.

Thanks again to all who supported me in this process.

VA is out. I passed, but barely. I was a little surprised as I thought I killed this exam. Oh well – as Phil Y says – you only need 75. Good luck to all.
