@Foster I would think it's other than those that are very insignificant all together. Not too sure. Didn't really pay attention to this.

@aatoural not really lol. and @allaboard I have the Becker book still. I was thinking of going with that and NINJA MCQs and now Notes. I'm not going to have access to the lecture and that kind of worries me. Sometimes they explain things that I don't quite understand.

FYI So for anyone using Becker, If your review expires and still have a couple months to go you may qualify for a one time extension of three months for $199 for all 4 sections and/or 50% off for all 4 sections and/or per section for a longer period of time. Just spoke to a representative and I got the three month extension. Hopefully I don't need more time. I am still getting NINJA MCQs. Feel like I need the lectures.

Are Ninja lectures better priced thatn the cost of extending Becker?

@Forster The definition of ‘trivial' or ‘clearly trivial' are “matters that are inconsequential, both individually and in aggregate, and when judged by any criteria of size, nature, or circumstance. The auditor should accumulate misstatements identified during the audit, other than those that are clearly trivial. If there is uncertainty about whether an item is clearly trivial, then it cannot be considered trivial.
The auditor may designate an amount below which misstatements are clearly trivial and do not need to be accumulated. The amount should be set so that any misstatement below the amount would not be material to the FS, individually or in aggregate, considering the possibility of undetected misstatements.”

Which reports does not require independence? For example compilation.
Which reports need to be issuer and non issuer? for example review and compilation is only for non-issuers and review in interim is issuers?

Hi,
My audit score was 65 last time. When I am taking Ninja MCQ , I am getting average around 65-68. I have same problem with REG with final score in the exam are 65,70,72. Kindly advice me.

You wouldn't believe how often I post a question on here, start to type up my confusion and realize where I was wrong then proceed to delete my entire post lol. Goes to show you I understand the material I just work way too quickly!

@dtatham10 I totally feel you on that. That happened to me a few times haha. Either I figure out the confusion while typing it out or never come up with a way to ask the question in a way that'll make sense lol.

@annie haha yeah I've been there on the having a hard time explaining my question.

There are times when I'm so pissed about a question come on here to post the question and prove to the world that Becker or Ninja doesn't know what they are talking about and I'm going to prove why…unfortunately I have yet to accomplish that.

What study material are you using?

@dtatham10 Haha for real, Becker condtradicts itself so much sometimes, and its super frustrating. I still have one confusion regarding 2 questions in A1 that contradict each other. Hopefully I figure it out soon enough or just give up lol.

I'm using Becker. How about you? when are you scheduled to take audit? I'm taking it on the 1st.

@annie I used becker first go around and Ninja MCQ's for this attempt. I prefer Becker, although Ninja has some cool detailed overview which do a good job at showing the areas you are weak at. I'm only switching because I needed fresh questions.

I'm scheduled for the 20th for AUD and the last day of the test period for REG…I think thats around the 7th?? Not sure.

What 2 questions are you having problems with..I may be able to help.

Yeah I think 7th or 8th is the last day. I'm taking REG next as well. Aiming for end of November.

Yess! That'll be great.
So A1 says if there's a going concern issue but it's fully disclosed and everything, it's okay to issue unmodified opinion with emphasis of matter paragraph. But in another question, it says it's not required to add emphasis of matter paragraph with unmodified opinion. So I'm confused that if its up to auditor, should there be an emphasis of matter paragraph or not? Hope that makes sense, not sure if I explained it right haha.
