The questions in Becker are similar to the questions on the actual exam. I passed Aud with an 83 using Becker Self Study. The only section where I feel Becker did not do a good job preparing me was BEC. BEC had questions and topics I'd never seen in the study material. Its only by the grace of God, I passed with a perfect 75.

a member in public practice shall NOT DISCLOSE any confidential client information without specific consent of the client. Exception: to comply with subpoena or summons. Is a letter from IRS includes in this exception? Meaning I can respond to IRS query without client permission?

I'm praying that I can join this group today. I took FAR for the third time on 8/28 and most of the questions and simulations were on IFRS, Gov and NFP. They were very tricky too so I don't know if I got a 75 or not. Hope to join this group in a few hours.

The client has to sign a power of attorney that allows the IRS to speak with you in the first place… So yes. Client permission must be obtained. In this case its the power of attorney that is sent to the IRS (they won't speak to you about a client unless they have that on file).

joining you now. I am so confused with AUD, its crazy. I had all 4 parts in 1 window (passed 3) and AUD was last, i was burned out, studied only 1/2 of becker book, ddnt do practice exams, went to take it anyway, left an hour earlier. I knew i failed. I got 62.

Then, next time, i studied like crazy for a month, all book twice, did tons of MCQs and sims, sit through whole exam till last minute, thought i did well and i got 65! Only 3 frigging points. Why I am frustrated? Cause i failed FAR, but it was a substantial score jump (51-72-75), and with AUD i have no idea what else to do. And Becker book is so tiny.

Now i am starting to study again, to take exam mid-October. I am really considering purchasing Ninja mcqs. What do you all think? I used Becker for other 3 exam and passed them. Do you feel like Becker is sufficient?
