@mary2496 I know what you mean. Ive been really weak on my sims so I keep practicing. and of course ive been scoring lower on the ones that seem to be popping up on most exams but positive thinking is the way to go at this point

I sure hope so. Some quizzes I do are good and some are not so good, then I get mixed feelings of how well I know things. I am defiantly more familiar with the terms than the first time. I really got to work on my SIMS though I am still struggling with those. Plan for the weekend is to knock out a lot of SIMS and understand everything!

With FAR, absolutely know everything. Major emphasis on bonds, statement of cash flows, pensions, DTA/DTL, KNOW JOURNAL ENTRIES (this will help with not only the SIMS but the MCQs as well, trust me). I know there are more important topics they hit on but that is all I can remember at the moment.

keep hammering the mcq. I was the same some quizzes good some bad then suddenly got great so itll come with more practice and reading explanations. (Im still so weak on the ‘performing' section in NINJA mcq) same with sims. made a list and highlighted the ones I need to do asap

Thanks for the FAR advice! Ive heard horror stories but I'm not letting them stop me. im so determined to finish by November

I think my grades kept fluctuating with my quizzes because i noticed sometimes im not as alert or cautious and im so quick to answer the questions without fully taking it in. so just slow down a bit it may help

Yeah I can always tell when I am tired because I start getting a lot of questions wrong that I shouldn't. That's when I take a break or go to bed. No point in wasting time if nothing is sinking in. Better to get rest and start fresh later.

And I have defiantly learned to Read the Question!!!
