@cpahopeful – I would think only one year.

@riascheme – I didn't have to fill one out on my first exam, but I would at least be familiar with what duties everyone does. What does the shipping clerk do? etc.

    FAR - 46, 79 (7/8/14)
    AUD - 56, 59, 2/23/15 3rd times a charm!
    BEC - 69, 74 Really??
REG - April, I hope. Fingers crossed!

Tarheelgirl, I read it today and I believe you still need a management representation letter for BOTH years even if management was only present for one year. Maybe rzbkfaith or someone else could confirm this.

@ anjanja Welcome to the group! I've seen you active on the 2nd quarter FAR group and now we're on the same study group again. Jeff's recommendation was 2 months but I'm taking my time (slowly but surely) and planned to take each section every 3 months. AUD is not as broad as FAR so 2-3 months preparation, I believe is enough time, even working full time.

    Good Morning Ninjas!

Unfortunately, I took the Audit Exam August 30, and failed (72%), for the second time. I was pretty upset since I was averaging 90% on the MCQs, and coming off of two recent passes (BEC & REG). I definitely took a beating on the simulations, specifically the reference questions. When going through Becker, when I got them wrong (come to think about it, was every time), I would just tell myself, “whatever, no way I would make that mistake on the exam” but on exam day, lone behold I spent nearly an hour on my two reference questions alone and I am pretty sure I got both of them wrong, in conjunction with other missed questions.

Now I am studying for Audit again to attempt it for the third time on October 2nd and am still getting reference questions incorrect. I use the keyword search, and I always end up a section or two off, if not completely off. I think we all can admit that the audit reference questions are significantly more difficult than the REG and FAR reference questions.

Can any Ninjas offer me some advice? I appreciate your consideration. Have a great week.

Hi All! I took my first AUD in August. Score only 73. I used Becker only. Going to retake this exam in October.

Many people were able to boost their score after using NiNja MCQ. I am thinking about going over my notes and do 150 or 200 MCQ per day.

    Any other suggestions?

    GOOD LUCK everybody!

Working on AUD, is there anyone working full time and studying for CPA? Should I quit my job and focus in the CPA test?

    AUD-SCHEDULED 1/17/15- FIRST TEST

    BEC-
    FAR-

@vanessawu most of candidates work full time, however if ur could take an annual leave to focus in the CPA exam it's a good choice

I believe reviews of interim FS of issuer companies uses SAS, and quarterly review FS use SSARS. Any review with a nonissuer uses SSARS.
