@Tarheelgirl Yes! the Audit Exam I just took had simulations that were very similar to the ones listed for Audit Sample Examination. 🙂

I am so mad at myself for not going over any of the sims now ! UGH haha but live and learn.

also, I realized I am going to utilize the Authoritative Lit more for the next exam 🙂

Is anyone else having trouble getting trough the AUD material? Just sooooo boring…

I actually fell asleep a couple of times studying for AUD. I think it was the most boring of the four parts.

Of course, it's also one of the shortest, so you can't complain too much. You might have to will yourself to push through some of the material but before you know it you'll be done with everything.

Does anyone know which regulatory agency conducts inspections of CPA firms? If so how often? every 3 years? 5 years?

I knew a guy who audited CPA firms but can't for the life of me remember the agency. So….I'm no help…

MBA,CMA,CPA, CFF?, ABV?

CPA firms go through peer review every 3 years. CPA firms that perform more than 100 (I think, the material isn't fresh anymore) public audits a year are subject to review by the PCAOB.

Thanks “As many Letters I care to Acquire”. I found the answer, it is PCAOB.

PCAOB is subject to oversight of the SEC. It has the duty to:

1.Register public accounting firms do audits for issuers.

2. Establish rules relating to prep of audit reports of issuers, and

3. Conduct inspections, investigations and disciplinary proceedings concerning cpa frms

So does anyone know what they are really keeping in mind for transaction cycle like I guess how confirmations of a/R test overstatement? Also, I still haven't received report to see what was weaker on… Has anyone else ?

I have 2013 Aud B Beckers material.

I am planning to start studying an want to give my exam in November. Is this Material ok to study with or there are “n” number of changes ?

Somebody please help need your inputs.
