Failed Audit with a 74 and my NTS expires on 10/2, so trying to retake on the first of Oct…I see others mentioning what date they are re-taking – you were able to register with Prometric? I keep getting an error that my “eligibilty ID does not exist”…am I just trying to schedule too soon.

Perhaps my frustration at a 74 is clouding my ability to follow simple instructions.

Joining the group to study! I bought the Ninja MCQ, with being that close, I feel like review and doing more questions should get me over the hump. Problem is…I started Reg prep class last week, so -pulled in two directions now.

iDeclare- You are in same position as me. I got 74 in aud and i am going to give my aud first in oct and then start reg to give it in Nov.

Question for BECKER people:

I'm confused when using the pneumonic PAIDTIPS with regards to questions involving testing of internal controls? Ghearty says to use that…but that acronym encompasses analytic/substantive procedures?

So then…what are the types of evidence used to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls?

Hi all, I'm taking AUD October 14, I haven't started studying yet!! I for some reason couldn't bring myself to until I got my FAR score even though that's illogical lol. I am using only Ninja Combo and Wiley book. I'm afraid it will be harder than my summer FAR studying because now I'm back in a full semester of classes, have a part time job, and will be interviewing with firms late sept/early oct.. but I think I can fit in 120 hours of studying so, gonna bang it out over the 4.5 weeks anyway.. HiYa!

I also just found out I failed Audit.. but was really close!

I was wondering what your plans were to re-study? I am taking it again Oct. 6th! I got the NTS today and signed up right away. Doing a diff testing center though because last time my computer logged me out halfway! (horrible experience..lol)

I just bought the Roger Cram and am going to do as many WTB mc and sims I can! I noticed all of the sims that were in the pre test for WTB were on my last exam.. What frustrates me is that I actually never even attempted them in WTB. So dumb but ya live and ya learn !

@Kat – I have WTB but haven't completed any of the SIMS. I've heard some people say their SIMS were not good or even close to the exam. So your saying your saw similar SIMS in your review of WTB?
