Yeah… Not having a nervous breakdown, but I can't focus at all anymore. IDK why, but I felt more prepared with REG despite not being in tax and it being 8 chapters… I just hate audit is taught. Instead of giving scenarios and teaching the implications or reasons behind the rules, it's just mindless memorization…

It's definitely the most memorization but the thing that worries me more is the judgement required in some cases. I get that that is probably by design since Audit requires more judgement than most of the rest of the sections. Still….I found REG to be a horrible giant pain in the assignment but a week out I felt pretty solid. Just can't get to that feeling with AUD….it's just too damn tricky. The key factor in AUD….RTMFQ….RTMFQ….RTMFQ….

No freaking out! Stay positive and be confident!

Alinute: agreed with tobe. I'm not feeling great yet but come exam day you just have to accept that you did all you could…trust your preparation, head in there and take it down.

I also say believe in yourself. During my practice tests I'd routinely get questions wrong where I second guessed myself so I worked very hard at having and using confidence by believing in ME. I know I did the best I could to prepare and being confident and positive just drilled it in more. I do this cheesy thing where every day at 11 am I say “I'm smart. I'm confident. I'm committed”. Has made a word of difference during the exam as now when I freak out for being flustered on not knowing an answer I sit back, take a deep breath and say those three things all over again.

Dont freak out. Got my score today and I passed AUD. Took last October felt unprepared. I always got 60 on evidence homework and Ninja MCQ. I was frustrated and demotivated back then. I got mad when I came out from testing center. You'll never know. If you know the concepts, you'll be fine.

    Hiya!

mariam – how are you retaking it Nov 25th? From your signature, looks like you took AUD on Oct 5th.

@Mariam Sorry to hear that, you'll get it next time. And Mary 2496 is right, you will not be able to take AUD until Q1 of 2015. Congrats to all who passed AUD especially to my late night buddies (Future Ninja, what happened to CPAHOPEFULL11)! I passed the test as well I'm officially moving to REG group. 🙂

Good luck to all in this group!

I passed with a 81 but failed FAR with a 72. Dang it, 1-2 not the worse of things but would have loved to be done with FAR. Oh well, BEC on the 20th, and REG on the 30th have to stay focused.
