Sounds like we had the exact same type of SIMS. I took my exam this past Saturday. Totally freaked out when I saw one of the SIM was same as last quarter. Pretty sure I ended up putting the opposite answer since I thought my Q2 answer must have been incorrect.

One more question, are we expecting to remember the formula for Ratio and Sampling for the Simulation?

You don't have to remember any ratio unless is an MCQ question. All ratios for Sims will be given. I didn't see any ratio on my exam.

I'm Lindsey, and I'm just starting to study for AUD and plan to take mid- to late- August. I'm not quite sure if I should review material to stay on track with my Becker timeline or spend the time to learn the material, but risk falling behind. That's what keeps me up at night!

I wish I remembered what was on my SIMS on my Q2 attempt but I don't remember s#$%. 🙁

right after each exam, i took note of all SIMS just so i can be better prepared in case i failed. this definitely helped in passing all exams.

Finished AUD two weeks ago but the cba website still says Schedule with Prometric. I really want to schedule my next exam and get my check in ASAP because cba and NASBA take forever. Anyone have this issue before? I don't think I can apply for the next exam until there is a confirmation that I took the last one I paid for.

What should I look out for in the Auditing section of the CPA exam? which topics do they prefer to test on for TBS'? I take my exam 8/24 and I was thinking of switching fully to Ninja from becker although Becker isn't bad for Audit.

I'm taking AUD on August 8th. I've been studying at least 20 hours per week for two months, with Becker. On Sunday, I took Becker's first mock exam, and scored a …. 57! What the @#$&? How much weight should I give to this? Is this an indication of imminent AUD failure?? Waahhhh…..

Study Goals:
1 – Read and Recall written notes, 2 sessions per day 30 minutes per session for the next 4 days.
2 – Sets of 10 MCQ and Notes for the next 4 days
3 – Print AICPA Simulations and work out explanations.

Q3 AUD Study Group

Has anyone taken the AICPA sample test? Shall we get a discussion going? I'm a little overwhelmed by how poorly I knew the answers. I think after I work through them and refine my test taking skills I should be prepared for the exam. It's that cold feet feeling.

I'm hoping I can make my adjustments quickly and get through this exam successfully.

Study goal:

This is my re-take for AUD, and it's been 4 months since I took it last time so I probably forgot most of the materials because I had to study for BEC/REG. My goal is to go through the materials again by watching lectures videos and take notes. Then, start pounding MCQs leading up to my exam date.

Also, utilize the NINJA notes to reinforce the concepts.

I took AUD yesterday.

No surprises on MCQ's, I did them in about 1hr 20 min.

SIMS were more like from FAR exam…A few adjusting entries, PPE, one SIM on Sampling and one on Reports.

I was studying with Gleim this time. AMA.
