For those who didn't pass – I think you can practice your MCQ skills by doing as many as you can. I bought the Ninja MCQs after not passing 2 times. The third time I took the exam, I also stayed till the last minute and kept researching as much as I could on the Sims – found one word for word – I think that's what pushed me over the edge this time.

I did all of Becker as well, but when I sat down and really thought about it before this last one, I had cheated myself a little. There were some sims that I avoided.

This last time, I reworked Becker, and I forced myself to work and learn the sims that I hated. Then I rewrote Jeff's notes and worked as many NINJA multiple choice and sims as I could.

That was my recipe for passing after failing three times. I hope it helps.

@funtiks…the sims were crazy this time around…I went thru the first 3 testlets thinking ok ..some hard questions but it wasnt bad…then got to the simulations…

just straight guessing…just so bummed about the exam

I just want to say, that if I have to hear Tim Gearty pronounce substantive one more time, I'm going to lose it. How hard is it to say SUB-STAN-TIVE?! He adds like 7 extra letters into the words.

I know that a compliance attestation engagement has to either be an AUP or an examination because a review isn't allowed…but why is a review not allowed?

Hello,

I am reviewing related party transactions in AUD and one of the SIM questions was to identify whether the given procedure is to Determine, Identify or Examine related party transactions. Did anyone bother to memorize these procedures? I am using Gleim review materials. Per my notes there are 6 procedure to Identify related parties transactions, 10 procedures to Determine, and 8 procedures to Examine. Man, that's a lot for me to memorize!

I'm about to begin studying for AUD. Any suggestions as to what I should use for study materials? I had CPAexcel for FAR and found it helpful…but I hear not as many people like CPAexcel for AUD. Thoughts?

@willpassby- you can only issue an unmodified, disclaimer, or adverse opinion on summary financial statements. Due to the summarized nature, a qualified opinion is not appropriate. if the auditor does issue a disclaimer or adverse opinion, they should consider withdrawing.
