@dragnets I used CPAexcel for audit too, here is an advise, find someone to give a becker book and review only that section. I hate Becker because of too much notes, but not on Internal Control and Government Audit they did a good job.

Another medicine do many MCQ from WTB on I/C…. Please dont opt out, because you will be surprised on the exam date. They might test you on I/C like you're asking to become COSO certified.

Do you ever get comfortable with being able to select audit procedures from a list in the sims? I always seem to miss a few. Rereading the book has helped me a lot with the multiple choice questions, but not so much with the really in-depth sims in Becker.

just came out from my aud exam. it was a roller coaster ride through hell. this test was very very hard compared to the last time I took it. Very wordy.. very very hard… and I mean it.. from the first testlet to my third testlet, it was wordy and the choices are all similar in words. The only difference was the word “AND” “OR”. I got 2 research questions, of which I found it word for word in AL tab compared last time. Hope we made it unless they will manipulately not let us pass. waiting on august 1st..

I believe the answer is A

Even without knowing that you need a rep letter for a Review, you can eliminate the other 3 answers. Considering assessing internal control is not apart of the Review process at all, you can eliminate both B and C. Risk of Material Misstatement is Inherent Risk x Control Risk, so again no Control Risk at all so you can now eliminate D as well.

Just took AUD yesterday…first time beginning my CPA voyage….MC was definitely managable…sims seemed to not have an incredible amount to do with actual auditing. If you didn't know how to book journal entries, you had no shot.
