mjp44MemberGotcha CPANY…so it that case, i would say that hiring a new payroll employee would increase inherent risk. My thinking is that this would not signify a weak internal control issue but having another employee could be inherently more risky?

I don't know how else to put it, but “everything” is important. The best advice I could give is to stay focused on the MCQs that you found challenging. I went back and reworked all of the MCQs that gave me problems. Make your best effort to understand the answer. However, don't get too wrapped around the axle. That is, if you find yourself spending more than 10 minutes – it's probably a good idea to move on at this stage in the game. Make sure your familiar with formulas that you may not have understood. For example, determining the interval and sample size for PPS sampling. Also, don't forget the key ratios. I would make sure to at least know the basic turnover ratios and how to covert them to days.
If you're using Becker, I recommend doing both practice exams because they each provide a set of new questions and simulations. That's 180 MCQs that you never seen before, plus 2 sims. I know Jeff considers this a waste of time, but to each is own. He has a lot a great advice that I heed to, however, I did the practice exams.
I took the exam on the 5th of July. I'm clueless to how I did. The questions were not straight forward. I walked out with a bad feeling, but I also felt the same way about FAR and I passed. I don't think too many walk away saying to themselves – I crushed that with no problem. So in summary, focus on the MCQs that gave you problems, review formulas, do the practice exams and then walk in knowing that you did the best you could under the circumstances, which may be work, family, and other obligations. It's easier said then done, but please don't stress yourself out and become anxious. You need to make good use of your prefrontal cortex during the exam. Best of Luck!

QladMember@nyc, beacpa and iddy…thanks a lot…as u can see my signature…it takes number of attempts to pass each of the section for me..so I m not a smart learner…don't know what worked for me in the exams that I passed…wud just say , may be , too many attempts helped me…but really want to utilize this time of 10 days wisely and thought the best way was to ask for the other student's plan and just follow it…so this week I try to finish all the marked questions again and next week will be review exams and sims practice…pls add some more suggestions ….thanks a lot

BEACPAParticipantQlad,
I know your main priority right now is studying for the exam, so I don't want to take too much of your time. However, I might have better suggestions if you could let me know how you prepare for each exam. For example, I watch each lecture, and if I perform below average in the corresponding MCQs for that lecture, then I review the lecture again. I keep track of my score for each topic and then review the MCQs that I marked for those topic areas. I reread the sections in the text that give me trouble and attempt to work the MCQs for that topical areas again. I rework all of the SIMS at least twice. Then I do the two practice exams provided by Becker and the free test offered by NASBA, which consist of 5 MCQ and one sim.
Could you take a moment to list out your study methodology? If so, I'll look for any gaps or what I consider to be gaps. Take care my friend!

QladMember@beacpa…it's lunch time for me and can spare some time if it really helps me get done with this one…for the AUD exam …first time around I listened to each topic lecture in becker and made detail notes …also did the mcq for each topic along…..did the sims at the end near the exam…no practice exam ….got a 64
second time around…I did not listen to the lecture but just did all the mcq again along with sims..but once…did a lot of progress tests at the end from becker and wiley test bank (but did not finish wiley)…also did one of the practice exam from becker…got a 71 with weak in mcq and strong in sims…
this time around…I first finished the wiley test bank…got avg 70s and some topics crossed 75s…someone in the forum suggested that the becker final review book is a good source of notes ….so I read the book and wrote the notes again…I had to take a break during the long weekend of july 4th and did not touch the books at all….since yesterday I have lost my confidence that I can do it…I have 2 sets of handwritten notes and lots of practice done…but not sure how to use everything intelligently so I wud feel confident by 18th of july…thanks a lot for the help…
