Also, if youre using Becker do ALL A4 simulations couple times.

    transaction cycles always pop up

I just got home from taking the audit exam. I don't know about you guys but I got soooooo many questions regarding A2 regarding review and compilation services, which are not challenging at all. I feel like I scored strongly during the MC testlet. My last testlet was HARD! I flagged about 5 to 7 on the 3rd testlet, so I know I was crushing the MCQ up to that point.

Now the sims. For the first sim I found it in the AL WORD for WORD. So that's one 100%. Then it went downhill from there. The examiners pulls these simulations out their ass man. I don't think there is a real way to study for these sims. I got the research question rather quickly but I triple-checked it just to make sure that section was exactly what the question was asking for.

Honestly, I feel great about the 1st 3 testlets the only thing I'm worried about is the simulations. Hopefully it doesn't bring me lower than a 75. I'm not gonna dwell on it right now, what's done is done. Now it's time to RELAX!!!!! Cayman Islands for 4th of July, I'm gonna enjoy that!

FAR - (Let's not talk about that score)
    AUD - 77!
    REG - 70, 70
    BEC - 77!

Which of the following procedures would an auditor most likely perform to test controls relating to management's assertion about the completeness of cash receipts for cash sales at a retail outlet?

    a. Compare the cash balance in the general ledger with the bank confirmation request.

    b. Observe the consistency of the employees' use of cash registers and tapes.

    c. Trace the deposits in the cash receipts journal to the cash balance in the general ledger.

    d. Inquire about employees' access to recorded but undeposited cash.

Im having trouble wrapping my head around this one. Any help please?

    Correct ans is B

    FAR- PASSED (11/13)
    REG- PASSED (2/14)
    BEC- PASSED (5/14)
    AUD- PASSED (8/14)

If it's important to you, you will find a way. If it isn't, you will find an excuse.

well, my exam was. ,,, ok? comparing to my previous time, i can clearly say, what was hard and what was not. First testlet was medium (ok?) the second was really hard (wha??) the third was super long and boring. Now the sims, i can swear, i received 2 sims almost word for word from my last exam and i dnt know should i be pissed or happy? weird.. other ones: One sim i found in AL, two research, one far related kinda.

for my other time, i studied less than 2 weeks, was totally dead, did not care for a thing, left an hour early and got 62. This time i studied more, had clear head, used almost all my time. Will see!

anyway, im on my 3rd glass of Merlot at this point and dnt wanna think about it till Aug 1st
