@NYCaccountant – I didn't give my best review effort the first time I took it. That's why I failed. I was even surprised AUD SIMS section had FAR questions. Plus I got 2 research AL that I didn't know how to look for it. I used search button and you know how plenty the results were? thousands… I remember there was one person here advised to use search within button.

Bottomline? know the codes. From AU-C 200 down to OMB-Circular A to AT to ET. Then take a blitz of FAR subjects specially entries. I hope you learn from my mistake.

My FAR experience went well. Felt the questions were easy, so I thought I had failed, but I passed. FAR takes the longest to study for and has over 900 pages of material you need to know. The book is huge. It has derivatives, hedging, and is heavy with the financial reporting. The thing for FAR is that you need to know partnership accounting, governmental accounting, non for profit accounting and international accounting, this is all on top of knowing GAAP. Long story short, FAR is a BEAST. Don't take it lightly.

    FAR - 93
    REG - 87
    BEC - 84!!!!
AUD - 99!!!!!! CPA exam complete.

It depends on your background and how quickly you pick up material. FAR is much larger than Audit and it does not really build on each chapter. I took it first because I was told it was the hardest exam and I wanted to get it out the way first.

    FAR - 93
    REG - 87
    BEC - 84!!!!
AUD - 99!!!!!! CPA exam complete.

@Gabe Nice scores!! Keep up the good work. You are scoring better than last time, correct?

In response to your question, I have not asked Jeff yet about that SIM, but I'm leaning that the SIM is incorrect.

I take this exam tomorrow. I've been reading thru the highlights I've made in the Becker book, working the ninja flashcards and doing some MCQs on CPAReviewforfree.com. I've pretty much memorized most of Becker and Ninja MCQ's at this point which is why I chose to do a fresh set of questions on CPAReviewforfree. It's weird, half of me feels pretty confident and the other half is nervous as hell.

I attacked this review way differently than I did for FAR. (I had to, because I failed.) We'll see tomorrow if the different study tactics that I've chosen has worked to my advantage. Please pray for a brother, because I DO NOT want to go through this material again…

FAR - (Let's not talk about that score)
    AUD - 77!
    REG - 70, 70
    BEC - 77!
