    Hi guys,

    @iddyrashy

That's the golden question! I haven't taken any parts yet, but I know a ton of people who have, and I get all kinds of answers.

A friend recently took AUD and she told me it was “straight Becker” and finished an hour early …….which I definitely don't believe, since the Becker questions seem to be a lot easier than the other test banks I've been studying.

Another friend told me she didn't recognize a single question word for word, but knew the material well enough that she passed with flying colors.

I'm trying not to get psyched out because I feel like I'm learning a lot, but my practice scores are very inconsistent and the clock is ticking 🙁

    AUD- 93
    BEC- 81
    FAR- 1/26/2015
    REG- TBD

@Pumpkins you nailed it. You and I are in the same boat. I am sitting for exam on the 6th, just a day after you're. Becker questions are way too easy, I find hard to believe too. However, I have my old buddy he only study Becker and made a 98% on exam. I am confuse too.

NYCaccountant may be can share something.

The questions on the exam generally seem to be easier than the review course. At least in my opinion. They are pretty straight forward. The SIMS often times are pretty vague, but it depends heavily on what section you are currently taking. I have never used Becker, I've used Wiley for every section so far, and i've been fine. Actually Audit is the first section where purchased an additional test bank (Ninja). For my first 3 exams, I used Wiley and CPAreviewforfree. After studying for all four, I can genuinely say that FAR is the probably the hardest because of all the material, BEC is the WTF exam, and REG is the petty exam. @Iddy & @pumpkin I'm sure you'll be fine

    FAR - 93
    REG - 87
    BEC - 84!!!!
AUD - 99!!!!!! CPA exam complete.

I'm using Becker, and I have seen several questions that were pretty much word for word. The main difference that I've seen is the sims on the real exam, are very tricky and obfuscatory. The sims are all that has kept me from passing AUD.

    Oh well, back to work.

I agree with everyone above…questions are pretty straightforward but SIMS can be hit or miss.

    CPA, CFE
CISA- Experience will be completed by August 2016

Thanks everybody for response. That is why I don't spend much time on SIMs, I think if you have the idea of concept then you find your way out.

Taking my first section next Wednesday. I've been using Becker, reading like crazy and running through the MCQ. Anyone else think that the lectures are a waste of time? Working full-time at an accounting firm makes it difficult to take advantage of all resources. I'm currently doing my final review of each chapter and will complete the Becker final exam once that is done.

Taking Friday-Tuesday off for some final cramming.

@iddyrashy If you understand the concepts behind the MCQ's, then you'll nail the SIMS. It's the same information presented in a different way.

I thought Becker's MCQs prepared me insanely well for the MCQs on the actual exam. There were lots of similar questions and at least one that I think was verbatim from the homework.

Simulations are always sort of a mixed bag.

I am at 87% on Ninja now. 90% Wiley. @Iddy how are you currently doing?

At this point, I'm doing questions I've already seen, so the averages are pointless.

    FAR - 93
    REG - 87
    BEC - 84!!!!
AUD - 99!!!!!! CPA exam complete.

NYCaccountant@ I find out Ninja MCQ have several questions concern SOX (especial with section numbers such as Sarbanes Oxley Section 303) do you think there is a need to memorize this section numbers?

So far I find out questions need more judgement that memorization, because most of them you can look at it and figure out.

No, in my experience the exam is not as detailed as Ninja questions are concerned. I usually get those right in Ninja because sometime they include the title as well as section number and then it's easy to guess.
