so i was looking at the appointments available for the nth time today and wished for just one opening in the first wave with my whole heart and ….there i saw available…only on 18th at 12.30pm…and the whole month was blank….a second of relief!!!!….then …an immediate regret…shud have wished for passing this time…it wud have surely been granted…arrggghh

In regards to the research questions on the exam. Is it like Becker's practice, where there is a drop-down list of multiple AL references standards to choose from (ex. AU-C, PCAOB, AT etc? For FAR and REG I only recall there be 1 option

When I took REG, I had two research questions and they both had that drop down menu.

FAR - 93
REG - 87
BEC - 84!!!!
AUD - 99!!!!!! CPA exam complete.

I am doing the Challenge as well! In answering some questions I just want to make sure this is correct with regards to the engagement letter: The engagement letter is required to have the following:

Objectives of the engagement

Limitations of the engagement

Responsibilities of Management/Auditor

Then the engagement letter may include Fees but it is not required. Is this correct?

Hey Gian, what are you currently preparing for to sit on first in Q3? FAR or AUD?

I currently have AUD scheduled for July 2nd at 3:15 for a rematch. But I'm contemplating pushing it a week b/c I haven't been very good at studying. Any last minute pointers for some who is less than half-way through the Becker material with only 1.5 weeks to go?? =/

I got a 69 the first time I took AUD in Feb 2014. Hoping for at least a 75 this time around, and trying not to panic in the meantime.

I'm scheduled to take BEC on 8/25, so I have to retake AUD in the first week or two of July to allow enough time to study for BEC.

So, any suggestions?

AUD - 69 (2/16/2014), 76 (7/5/2014)
BEC - 68 (8/25/2014), 80 (7/30/2015)
REG - 72 (4/26/2015), 75 (8/23/2015)
FAR - 69 (11/18/2015), take 2 in Jan 2016

Correct, engagement fees are not required to be included with the engagement letter.

Additional but not require:

Timing, client assistance discusssions,

Use of a specialist, or internal auditors

Communications with Predecessor auditors

Billing and fees

Engagement letter is not required though, a written communication is. Should list:

Objective

Management responsibility

Auditor Responsibility

Limitations

I think it's in this order too.
