I had registered for my NTS so I could book the July 19th date. Seems people book the dates right before the close of the wave the most, so I'm happy I have a seat. I also have taken 2 out of my 3 exams at 12:30, so I'm hoping that's a good luck time frame for me! lol

Just got my first ever perfect score in Ninja. Trending at 85% now. I've started reading the book a second time and cleaning up messy areas. I want this madness to be over already, starting to lose my sanity.

@Qlad That's one thing I've figured out from taken these exams. Take the exam as late in the wave as possible. More prepared, less wait time for results. I've always taken my exams very early in the wave and as a result, I've had to wait a month for results 2 times.

just figured out i can copy paste the new version of wiley…so thought i will ask some questions that are sometimes tough for me or most of the times, i am lost in the words and forget what i was doing….

Which of the following statements extracted from a client’s lawyer’s letter concerning litigation, claims, and assessments most likely would cause the auditor to request clarification?

“I believe that the plaintiff will have problems establishing any liability.”

“I believe that this action has only a remote chance in establishing any liability.”

“I believe that the plaintiff’s case against the company is without merit.”

“I believe that the company will be able to defend this action successfully.”

“I believe that the plaintiff will have problems establishing any liability.”

I would ask the Lawyer so what do mean by that? seems pretty vague. So do you mean the chances are remote, possible, or probable?

“I believe that the plaintiff’s case against the company is without merit.”

I think for this one, by the lawyer using without Merit, I'm think he is saying the chances of the plaintiff winning is remote.

I'm going to go with A. What is answer by the way? lol

I got this question below correct, however i need to know why C is not correct?

An auditor's program to examine long-term debt most likely would include steps that require:

A.comparing the carrying amount of the debt to its year-end market value.

B.correlating interest expense recorded for the period with outstanding debt. (Correct)

C.verifying the existence of the holders of the debt by direct confirmation.

D.inspecting the accounts payable subsidiary ledger for unrecorded long-term debt.

To confirm the existence of the debt most of the time auditor send out confirmation, in which he/she confirm the outstanding debt amount and interest payable.

You won't verify the existence of the holders of the debt, you'll use the confirmation to verify the existence and valuation of the dollar amount of debt. You can always look at debt agreements, loan covenants, contracts to see who holds the debt.
