I decided to go for it, and re-take AUD today. Walking out of the testing center I felt okay. Confident enough to feel that I did not completely bomb it, but a bit lacking knowing I got some MCQs wrong, and a feeling that some of the simulations could have gone good or bad. For my testing experience:
I felt good on the first set of MCQs. There were definitely a few I wasn't sure off, but I felt I was able to narrow down the answers to at least 2, or explain to myself why that one answer was correct. The second set of MCQs, was a bit different. I'm unsure if it was a more difficult set, but the questions were definitely longer and wordier, with a few odd ball questions thrown in the mix. I felt there was more on the second set of MCQs that I didn't know compared to the first set.
Simulations were okay. I felt good about a couple of them, while others I felt were very subjective and could have gone either way. I was actually excited about one of the simulations I had to complete. There were definitely times where I was completely unsure, but feels normal when it comes to me dealing with simulations. I was a bit bummed in receiving two Research Questions. I assume one of these was a pre-test, but I did feel confident in both of my answers for those.
Here's hoping to the best come next score release. I think I will definitely continuously review AUD, or at least go over the book and notes provided in the review course.
