So, how do you study for this? I’m using Roger and I thought there’d be some SIMs in his test bank, but I think I must be missing it. So, I attempted to search on the AICPA and PCAOB websites. I guess I’ll go take a look in the Ninja testvbak I purchased to see if there are any over there.

I had trouble with these at first, but the key is to use “Search Within” function-took a couple of them to practice how to do this. Does your test bank have research SIMS?

Some might disagree but practicing SIMS is a waste of time. Just know how to navigate the AL If necessary. The advanced search feature is your friend. And knowing where to look. Is it Auditing Standards, Comp and Reviews or Interpretations. I mean you still have to know the fundamentals of Audit.

I got a DRS, two with 8-10 blank cells, and some I would not be able to find without the AL. Just my take

Unfortunately, my review course does not have any research SIMS for me to practice.

After reading through the section in my review course regarding the research SIM I decided that I just need to focus on knowing where to look. As for the other SIMS, I've heard it's very beneficial, if possible, to use the authoritative literature to answer them. So, I'll give it my best shot.

Hey guys! I have a question.. I’m a little confused. So I was trying out AUD research questions and instead of using the AL given by my review course, I was using the AL in AICPA site… so for like every question, if I answer with something from SAS .. the answer it is showing me is actually from the “Application and Other Explanatory Material” part of it… for example, if I answer say AU-C 265.11 , the answer would be 265.A15.
What is the difference between these two? Are we supposed to answer from the Explanatory material? Can someone help me?
