    Hi guys,
I’m taking AUD on Monday and I’ve been using Becker. I went through the Becker book (reading and annotating, taking notes, and individual MCQ’s for most of the chapters but not all) and I’ve done most of the Sims but not all of them. I finished the last module on Monday and I want to make sure I’m reviewing right. I’ve been re-writing mnemonics, going through individual chapter Sims that I didn’t do, reading through the Auditor reports to re-familiarize myself with the format, and then doing comprehensive progress tests of 36 questions (to mirror the exam format). After I finish a progress test, I’ll read through the explanations of the questions I get right and then I write down the question and answer that I get wrong. To put things in context, I usually pass the progress tests, usually between 80-90% (although there are some repeat questions that I just remember doing) Sometimes I feel like I’m not doing enough but I’m not sure what else I could be doing. Any advice/suggestions? Thank you in advance.

Have you tried the AICPA sample tests yet?
Your study method seems pretty solid. I am not sure what you mean by not all chapters. If you skipped chapters I would advise against doing that, but lots of MCQs will help for sure.
Everything sounds pretty good so far.

No @Recked I haven't, I'm planning on taking a Becker mock exam on Saturday, although I could switch it and do an AICPA sample test instead (not sure if there is a difference).
Each chapter in Becker has a mini practice simulation and a set of MCQ's pertaining specifically to that chapter. I skipped the mini simulations when going through the book so now I'm going back and doing them. For the sake of staying on my study schedule (I crammed for about 2.5 weeks right after taking BEC), I skipped some of the chapter-specific MCQ's. I should go back and do those as well, in addition to the comprehensive progress tests; I think that will help a lot. Thank you for the insight!

The AICPA sample test is maybe 5 MCQs and 5 SIMs. The MCQs are fluff and should be easily answered. The SIMs are also fluff, but will give you some read world experience, and you will probably see at least once question on your exam that is very similar in nature. Highly recommend the Sample, and its not a big time commitment. MCQs and the Sample will provide you more benefit than doing the Mock exam. I'd suggest skipping the Mock exam unless you NEED it to gauge time. Advice is get through the MCQs as fast as possible to leave yourself as much time as you can on the SIMs. They can be overwhelming and tricky. Stay focused, stay alive. Good luck.

Oh wow, good to know, I had no idea. I'll do the sample test instead then. Time is definitely something I struggle with on exams so I'll work on strategizing for MCQ's and Sims. I appreciate the advice, thank you so much
