Yikes, now I am worried. With FAR, I knew of at least 10 MCQs that I got wrong, I skipped one sim, and the research sim was for sure wrong… but, I still passed with an 80.

Oh well, no sense dwelling on it. It is what it is. If I failed, it's not the end of the world. My job doesn't depend on me passing, this is just a personal goal for me and a way to make extra money on the side.

P.S. I love cats too! I have one creamy tabby named Little Man. He is the love of my life! Funny thing is… I am allergic to cats! LOL

Best of luck with Audit!! One great thing about Audit (believe me, there isn't much IMO!!) is that there is plenty of time on this exam. So, take your time and READ the question.

And yes, cats rule, I CAN'T believe you have a cat and you're allergic to them though!! Do you have to be medicated all day??

I just took Audit a couple weeks ago too. I was using the Becker books, CPA Review for Free and CPAExcel. The MC felt pretty simple for me. I completed the three sections within ~90 minutes.

The simulations, for 4 of them I felt like I have never even seen them before.

Now when it comes to taking Audit again, I really don't know how to get back to studying for it. I was getting 80%+ on the MC questions I was taking. I just don't know where to begin studying for the simulations as they can throw anything at you, whether it be included in the study material or not. Just as an aside, I completed around 50 simulations on CPAExcel, and I was still completely taken aback by the Simulations I saw on the exam.

I got 69 for AUD (4th try).

Should I take a cram review course or full course?

Since I am a mom, my budget is limited. I hope Roger cram course works for me. ..

I failed AUD first time as well, passed with 75 the next time.

Here's what I did:

Read each chapter in Becker, re-read it again until I was getting 90% on all the MCQs,

Did all the MCQs & SIMS at least two times, and continued doing the progress tests.

I also supplemented with the Becker Final Review & Notecards.

I had Wiley test bank and Ninja notes, but didn't have enough time to go over them. I used Ninja topics for topics that I didn't understand in Becker.

I'm not sure how I passed because the exam was very difficult the 2nd time around, however, I used the Research Tab A LOT for the SIMS…that may have helped.

Just continue reading and do MCQs until you puke (heard that from someone, but it's so true:). Good Luck, you will pass next time…I know how you are feeling, but you WILL pass!

Failed Audit 3 times with Becker. I studied all three times with Becker 2011 material and got 70, 70, and 71. I am planning on retaking in April, should I purchase the 2012 material? I also feel that the Becker simulations are not very good, any suggestions for other brands?

Just to add to the above, because I failed audit so many times, my reg just expired. I dont have much time before my next part expires.. Is it worth it to purchase 2012 for both audit and reg? i have to take both before May 31th and I work full time—busy season..
