Any input on how much time I should spend on understanding spread sheet formals. I do not use them much in my work and do not want to get caught blind sighted on an AUD SIM

@Annette1 I wouldn't spend any time on them. They are different than microsoft excel and the ones you can use are only the simple ones. I would spend time focusing on weak areas of audit than worrying about the formulas. Hope that helps!

    Thanks

    Canson16-

Just keep going strong on the Becker materials. I took somewhere around 13 progress tests in all, but only a few of them covered every topic. Start looking for any weak points and focus on those areas. I was having trouble with reviews and compilations so I must have taken 2-3 progress tests on sections 2 alone, along with reading over the book, and studying the flashcards.

Don't focus all your time on weak areas, stick to some confidence boosters as well. You can pass this exam! Becker prepares you very well.

Oh and definitely take the final exams, I took the first one about a week and a half before the test (didn't pass) then the second one a few days later (also didn't pass, but just barely!) Then I took the first one again a few days before I sat (passed with flying colors, but probably because I remembered the questions) but this still gave me a huge boost walking into the exam, and I ended up leaving Prometric exactly 2 hours after I started.

    Hope this helps!

taxi cow tent- I dont really practice these at all… They usually are pretty cut and dry. I would say that the best bet is to use your review program to do this if you are really concerned here. Mine on my exam was fine and I can tell you that it just takes some getting used to using the “search within” function.

If you use becker, I know that they have these in the simulations. Not sure about the other review programs.

    Hope that helps!

Question for anyone out there. I know that simulations are not adaptive unlike multiple choice. But let's say one exam has more than half of their simulations referring to say ch 1 and easier chapters while another exam has the majority of their sims dealing with ch 4 transaction cycles and harder material. Is this fact taken into account in the grading process or so they assume all sims are of the same difficulty when grading?

Took AUD today.. Whole test took me only 2 hrs… Could be a good thing and could be a bad thing. I've never had time left over in an exam before. I'm shocked. It was the same when I was taking the practice exams too.. I'm so scared lol I didnt rush or even find it super easy..

REG 81.. BEC 75 (close one) AUD 63,73.. FAR 67,74..

Sdb2fsu–Becker recommended memorizing the standard report and the differences between it and the other types of reports. I was really glad I did this.

    FAR 4/1/11 - 89
    AUD 4/15/11 - 85
    REG 4/29/11 - 80

Does anyone out there know how the new AUD simulations will be graded in comparison to the old? I am curious to know if each tab in the new simulations will be graded or if some will be thrown out… kind of like they do with testing new MC and such.
