    Hey yankee , I thought I had posted but I guess my post didn't go through

    I think the simulations were waaay more reasonable than last time, but the multiple choice was not as easy

    I still had some trouble with the sims but nothing like last time. I think I spent 1 hour on the research question . like wtf are they asking??? but I think i may have gotten it right.

    for the multiple choice, I marked about 15-20 in total where I was 50-50

    I really need to pass audit, so I can gather enough motivation to slave myself to FAR, but either way , I think I'm just going to isolate myself for the next month and force myself to take it since my nts expires at end of february so I'm just gonna try to grind it out.

    Yankee you're studying for reg now right?

    @bkkguru,

    hooray!! always good to get finished with an exam. I am glad the sims were horrible. In terms of the mcq's being hard –probably because you were doing well in the testlets–all in all–seems like you had a good experience. Yahoo!! I hope to hear some good news soon!! GL with FAR…I agree, I would try and hammer that out.

    Yep, I am studying REG…trying to sit mid February.AAAHHHH!!!

    yeah , That sounds great , I found REG much easier than AUD and we both sucked at AUD , so I think you should find REG and BEC much easier.

    I'll check back here when the first scores get released to cheer you on and of Best of luck with REG also ,

    stay thirsty from my friend!

    Currently studying for AUD and if I had to bet I would say I will have a SIM on attribute sampling for control risk. Of course if I spend hours perfecting the application I won't get so much as a multiple choice question.

    I have to admit I thought you liking the Sims better on AUD was crazy. I just took the exam and I agree with you. The preferred the Sims to the multiple choice. Really don't know how that one went. I will have to wait and see. This may be the one that make me lose credit. I'm going to really be looking for the score release on this one.

    Good luck to all.

    I took AUD today and felt the MCQ's were managable, however I feel terrible about my simulations. Does anyone know how they are evaluated and graded. E.I. if any of them are just test sims. Regardless, Ifeel that I failed due to the simulations…they were rediculous.

    @easterly

    I just know they are weighted 40%. I felt like my mc questions were hard today. I usually feel like the mc questions are easy. I liked my Sims but I know to some extent you are at the mercy of how the questions come out. This is my 4th section and I've learned you can't tell by how you feel afterwards if you passed. My first exam I hardly studied and passed my first FAR exam I studied a ridiculous amount of time and failed…thinking I passed. I just can't figure it out. I wish you could see your exam or a better score report.

    It is so frustrating.

    Congrats to those who passed!! 😀

    Also I just took the Audit exam today, hoping for the best.. wasn't too bad to be honest but I'm afraid that I made some really stupid errors here and there to not make it to that 75 mark.

    Also there was one sim that I had no idea what to do but I was able to use the “Authoritative Literature” to answer the entire question..:p [it wasn't research]

    Welp, Audit is up next and of course I slapd!icked around a little too long after my FAR exam. I am just now finishing the lecture on A1. I feel like the lectures only help when they give a slight tip or keyword, other than that I am too busy focusing on switching from pen to highlighter and circling and not even paying attention to the material.

    Its going to be a busy month for me and I want to go through this as prepared as possible. Would any of you suggest that I skip the lectures since I have to read anyway and just read, review notecards, and do the MCQ for each section? I also have Ninja notes, which I hear are key to this exam.

    What should I expect from the rest of the chapters? Please tell me this gets more interesting/easier?

    B 71 - 79 EXPIRED
    A 69 - 75 EXPIRED
    R 65 - 48 - 45
    F 56 - 61 - 65 - 64

    Becker, Wiley Test Bank, Wiley Text and Ninja Notes

    Still need 30 more credits, in basket weaving (gotta love new CA requirements)

    @Hustlin After my first two live classes with Becker I decided to forget all that highlighting/underlining/circling nonsense and to watch the lectures and take my own notes. It's a bit of a pain and takes longer than just watching the lectures because you have to pause them every few minutes to write everything. But most people remember things a lot better when they write them down instead of just reading, and it gives you a study guide that's about 10 handwritten pages per Becker section to review instead of 80+ in the book.

    I wouldn't skip the lectures because they do a good job of discerning what's important to know and what you don't need to study as much.

    REG (7/7/11) 75
    FAR (7/28/11) 76
    BEC (8/27/11) 81
    AUD (10/15/11, 1/20/12) 63, 91

    DONE!!!
