Finished my AUD exam yesterday with an hour to go. Hope that's a good sign and not my rushing through it. Oh well back to BEC. uggh…

@mago20 what did you do? i'm studying w/ 2009 books and the 2011 wiley update for AUD. how was it?

@Canson16. I left about 2 hours for Sims even taking the MCQ's slow because the trick wording is what was tripped me up during studying. I found that I knew the answers during studying just one word would change and I would chose the wrong answer. Anyway, I was done with the Sims in an hour. Struggled on one sim for sure but I believe Becker prepared me well for this exam and the time I put in for this one too. What material are you using?

@MercyGrace- i am using Becker as well. Somehow each chapter is taking very very long ,my study plan includes – lectures , chp reviewing and MCQ;s , I am thinking abt getting the Becker flashcards , did you use any of them ? were they helpful ?

@canson – Yes, the flashcards were useful. I made notes for each one I couldnt answer until i could answer them correctly. Reading the chapters helped me. Just the way that I learn I guess. The lectures were ok for highlighting but i had to go back and read the chapters. Oh and I completed the MCQ's including supplemental at a minimum 3 times each per chapter. I had the final review as well which had great additional sims within the lectures but I found that the lectures themselves weren't as useful. Just my opinion.

Taking AUD in a week. Any last minute study tips? I am scared to death about this one, because AUD was my weakest class in college (because my professor just loved to talk about useless stuff, vice teach about AUD).

My advice would be KNOW THE DIFFERENT AUDIT REPORT FORMATS – audit, compilation, review, etc. Knowing how to write each one was key when I took AUD back in February.

Thank you so much for that info- I just went ahead and ordered my flashcards, should have them early next week- I also want to do the MCQ’s atleast 3 times ., that’s the way I managed to crack BEC- 3 rounds of MCQ’s , also I used Wiley for BEC which was sooo good !! Cindy explained the concepts from scratch & that really helped

However AUD has this ridiculous amount of material…….. 🙁 …how much time did you put in for your AUD studying ? . I am working full time so I can’t do more than 25-27 hours in a week. Although I think I will have to really step up my game now!!

@canson16 – no problem. I hope to crack BEC round 3 as well. Seems Cindy with Wiley was a real help to alot of candidates. I looked into Wiley but couldn't figure out which review option had the lectures. They werent clear on their site.

With 2 BEC fails because of an inconsistent study plan, I decided I couldnt continue to throw money out the window. So for Auditing I decided to consistently study as much as I could with a full time job and other responsibilities. I was able to do 180 hours in 6 weeks. We'll see if it pays off.

Just took AUD yesterday. I hate the waiting and had about 1hr after finishing the simulation. I spent about 45 mins reviewing and re-reviewing the sim – some of them were a bit tricky. lol

Now I have to start studying for FAR again – I'll have to take it before mid-May. I have to find a plan for that.

Thanks to everyone that supported with answers. I have worked some MCQs and I got an 89%, but I am concerned about the TBSs. Especially since many people are concerned about thier trickiness.

I started the Chp 2 lectures in Becker for AUD and they was a pop up at Topic 4 saying that this topc was going to be tested only after June 2011 , I am taking my AUD on May 31st…Did those of you who used Becker and took the Exam recently come across this as well?

Is there some where I can look at a list of what all topics are being tested before June 2011 In Aud and after June 2011- just to make sure I don’t miss anything .
